You read my mind about planning my breakfasts ahead of time – I am going to bake the oat muffins you suggested from Little Miss Healthify’s blog tonight 🙂

Good Idea!! And buy the way, I tried making the oat flour muffins into orange poppyseed and it worked out fantastically! Haven’t posted the recipe, yet, but basically I just added poppyseeds, orange zest and then the juice of the orange. Just sayin’…. 😉

ah those oat cakes look ah-mazing! I would definitely sign up for it but I’m too scared and probably cutting anything else out my diet isn’t the best idea but I’d love to do it in the future. I’m a sugar addict!

I just added a new tab for sweetener-free treats (all free of any added sugar but fruit, mostly dried fruit free as well)…..getting excited!

I am mostly sugar free as it is besides a little agave in my favorite Siggi’s yogurts! It probably wouldn’t be to hard for me to be completely sugar free though!

    Those oat cakes look fabulous!

I wish luck to everyone doing it! I did a “no chocolate/desserts” challenge for a week and it drove me slightly mad… lol

Im not signed up. I’d feel like an imposter b/c I have always blogged about my love of sugar and carbs…lol

But i think it’s wonderful you’re doing it…seriously, great. If it makes you feel good, awesome. Diff strokes for diff folks type thing. I would catch too much heat…haha…if I all of a sudden went sugar free. And shh…, I kinda like desserts too much 🙂

haha… that’s ok! I get what your saying! But if you decide you want to try it, I’ll still be here 🙂 And you can always make your date- sweetened desserts for the 10 days….. But I get what you’re sayin 😉

I’m super excited, but had some last minute realizations, like is there sugar in my wine??! I googled it but couldn’t really come to a clear conclusion so if you know anything that I don’t please let me know. But other than this wine problem I’m super excited. I’ve made a few sugar free things to make meals a bit easier the first few days, so I don’t accidentally reach for something sugary.

Honestly, I have no idea if there is added sugar in wine. There is no law about putting ingredients on alcohol packages, so I don’t know how you would find out! I would think that wine is just made by letting grapes sit?? I don’t really know, sorry! But, whatever, go ahead and drink it! I am glad you are excited for the challenge 🙂

I just made some breakfast oatcakes for tomorrow morning. I used walnuts, cacao nibs and goji berries in them. I just tried one and they’re amazing! I just have to stop eating them before they’re gone. They were so simple to make. I had too much fun making rolled oats into flour and mixing chia seeds with water. this is my first experience with chia seeds, cacao nibs and goji berries but i’m pretty stoked about all of three of them!
